Pastor Michael Luckett
Elder Michael Luckett Sr. is a devoted servant of God, serving as an Elder, Minister, and Gospel teacher. In 2017, he married Minister Tiwana Luckett from San Angelo Texas and they now have five children together. Elder Luckett served in the U.S. Air Force from February 1985 to October 1990 and it was during this time that he found Christ and began his spiritual journey.
In October 1995, he became one of the first Deacons at New Life Deliverance Temple Church in Navarre Florida. Just over a year later in December 1996, after completing Ministerial Leadership Training, he was licensed as a Minister of the Gospel. He felt the call of God to move to San Angelo Texas where he was ordained as an Elder in March 2020.
Elder Luckett’s passion lies in helping others through various forms of service such as working with young adults, directing choirs, organizing church events, ministering to prisoners, and supporting pastors. Through his experiences working closely with pastors, he has gained valuable insights on leadership and ministry.
His ultimate goal is reflected in the mission statement of Remnant Restoration Church: “To bring back those who are lost or broken through the love of Jesus Christ”. The most important lesson he has learned is the importance of having a compassionate heart for God’s people.
First Lady Tiwana Luckett
Tiwana, a San Angelo native, was born into a family deeply rooted in ministry and music. Inspired by her upbringing, she founded the New Birth Women’s Conference in 2002 with a vision to empower and uplift women. The annual conference, which began in 2004, aims to provide healing, restoration, and freedom for women from all walks of life.
Licensed as a minister in 2006 while serving at New Birth Full Gospel Assembly under Pastor Leo McCarty & Co-Pastor Sharon McCarty, Tiwana has been dedicated to spreading the word of God. She and her husband Michael are active members of Emmanuel Apostolic Church under the leadership of Pastor Bradly Evens and First Lady Teshawn Evens in Converse Tx.
A proud mother of five children within their blended family unit since marrying Michael Luckett in 2017, Tiwana is also focused on her education. She graduated with an LVN certification from TSTC of Sweetwater in 2007 and is currently pursuing a Healthcare Management degree at Penn Foster while continuing her ministry work.
